Molly McPheeters has taken on the new full-time role of Campaign Coordinator for the Combined Campaign for Justice (CCJ) effective January 2022. Since 2018, Molly had a joint role as the Development Associate for Community Legal Aid Society, Inc. (CLASI) and for CCJ. This new position will enable Molly to focus full-time on running and further enhancing CCJ’s annual $1.5 million campaign, along with continued support and supervision from Lisa Lessner and Jason Stoehr.
Molly received her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Maryland, College Park in 2016. Before coming to CLASI and CCJ, she worked as an AmeriCorps member with City Year Boston (CYB). Her role at CYB involved supporting 8th grade students by increasing their academic rigor, as well as leading a team of 15 AmeriCorps members through their service to the city of Boston.
In addition to her duties at CCJ, Molly volunteers as an adviser for the Delaware Community Foundation’s Youth Philanthropy Board, where she leads high school youth through the grant awarding process. She is a youth development leader for a local youth group, and serves on the board of directors of Leading Youth Through Empowerment, an afterschool college preparatory program for low-income youth in Delaware.
