The Combined Campaign for Justice (CCJ)’s new lead chair, Eric Monzo, has been a practicing attorney in Delaware for 15 years. He currently serves as the Bankruptcy Practice Group Chair for Delaware law firm, Morris James. For the last seven years, Eric has served on CCJ’s general committee, where he has worked with colleagues in the bar to encourage support of CCJ’s central mission: supporting the critical work of Delaware’s three civil legal aid agencies.
When asked about his involvement with CCJ, Eric said:
“There are countless stories of those impacted through the work of CCJ and the organizations it supports, I am proud to be involved in this organization. I am fortunate to practice law in Delaware. I also proudly call Delaware my home. Serving the community not only feels great but, most importantly, volunteering time and resources can create a dynamic and lasting impact on someone’s life. The agencies CCJ supports allow unserved members of our community to receive invaluable access to our court system. This access not only helps those who receive the representation to reach their potential but helps all Delawareans. Our community is stronger when we work together and help each other. “
