Early mentors instilled the importance of the Campaign and I contributed regularly over years without giving it much thought. But when I served as a co-chair, I witnessed first-hand the dedication of our agency attorneys and the incredible work they were doing for those less fortunate (who often have nowhere else to turn for help); that confirmed for me the importance of both giving to the Campaign and urging others to do the same.
